Do you pick up at Entebbe Airport?

Self-drive or with a driver?
Both. Sedans, RAV4 class, Prado, and Land Cruisers can be self-drive when you meet the licence rules on the agreement. Vans, coasters, and buses are usually with a Stim driver. Self-drive Uganda.
What documents do I bring at pickup?
A valid driving licence for the class, passport or national ID, and the payment the invoice named. Visitors should carry an international driving permit where Ugandan law or the insurer requires it. We confirm this on the agreement — we do not guess your home-country paperwork on a web form.
What is the minimum age for self-drive?
21 years for a Stim self-drive. Uganda’s driving age is 18; our insurer is stricter. Extra named drivers and licence years are on the hire agreement.
Is insurance included?
Cover is described on the hire agreement — typically third-party plus own-damage. Indicative self-drive excess: USD 300–500 on a RAV4 class, USD 500–1,000 on a Prado, USD 800–2,000 on a Land Cruiser. The figure on your paperwork binds. Read Terms of hire and the rate card.
What does a driver cost?
From USD 30/day in Kampala and Entebbe, USD 40–50/day upcountry, plus lodging and meals on overnight trips. Confirmed on the quote.
How much is Entebbe–Kampala?
From USD 40 one way in a sedan, flight-timed. Prado from USD 70, van from USD 80. Night waiting is on the quote. See Entebbe–Kampala.
What deposit do you take?
Typically 30% of the hire, invoiced to hold the vehicle. At pickup we take a security bond equal to the insurance excess (cash or card authorisation), released after inspection. Corporate accounts follow the vendor contract. How to pay.
How fast do you reply?

Is fuel included?
No. Day rates exclude fuel. Return at the agreed level, usually the same as handover.
Is mileage unlimited?
Most Uganda self-drive quotes include unlimited mileage on public roads. Extra borders or unusual use are written on the quote. Confirm it before you pay.
Can I take the car to Kenya, Rwanda, or Tanzania?
Yes when the quote names the border in writing. Tell us before you book. DRC and Burundi are not assumed. See cross-border hire.
How do I return the vehicle?
Message the desk with time and place before you arrive. We inspect together. Return reasonably clean, at the agreed fuel level, with the accessories that went out. Smoking in the cabin is not allowed.
Are the website rates the final price?
They are indicative USD per day. Your quote adds driver, fuel, extras, and dates. EUR/GBP in the header is a planning conversion.
How do I pay?
Invoice and bank transfer are the usual corporate path. For a first hire, allow the wire to land at least 14 days before pickup when you can. Cash on pickup only if we agreed it. We do not take card numbers on this website. How to pay.
Do you run activities in Jinja?
Yes. Nile tubing, rafting, bungee, boats, cycling, and the rest of the published list are on the Jinja activities page. International visitor prices are in USD; tour guide and photography are in Uganda shillings. We confirm what is running on your date.
Do you sell gorilla permits or lodge nights?
No. We hire vehicles. UWA permits and lodges are booked with those operators. We will drive you to the gate when the hire includes that road.
Can you invoice my NGO or company?
Yes. Send the legal name, billing address, and any vendor forms. Start with the vendor pack (payment terms, fleet classes, how to request TIN and certificates). See vendor onboarding.
Where is the office?
Postal address: P.O. Box 112307, Wakiso. Operations run from Kampala and Entebbe. A street-level public office will be published when we have a stable visiting address — we will not invent one here.
